Hon'ble Adv. Ankushraoji Tope Saheb was born on 18 September 1942 at Patharwala Taluka Ambad, District Jalna. He completed his education upto B.Sc., LL.B. He represented as M.L.A. of Ambad constituency for a couple of terms as well as Member of Parliament (M.P.) of Jalna district for one term.

Considering the educational backwardness of the region and with a view to make educational facilities available to poor and rural students, Honorable Advocate Ankushraoji Tope established the educational institution named “Matsyodari Shikshan Sanstha” in 1974 at Taluka Ambad, district Jalna.

Within a span of 45 years, it has emerged as one of the most reputed and quality-conscious educational institutions. It was awarded as the Best Educational Institute by the Government of Maharashtra. The institute has eight senior colleges, ten junior colleges, forty-two primary and secondary schools, three hostels, and one military school.

Matsyodari Shikshan Sanstha started 'College of Education' at Jalna in the year 1994, which is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad).

Matsyodari Shikshan Sanstha was established with the objective to provide excellent and quality education to the students of the rural community of Jalna and other districts of Marathwada region. The sanstha has been founded by Karmayogi late Adv. Ankushraoji Tope saheb with great academic vision.

We always endeavour to develop every individual to explore their full potential. Over the years, our education institute has proved its quality and excellence in contributing towards a healthy and prosperous society. The various branches of our sanstha are self-explanatory in conveying the value additions being done. We try to groom students into leaders of the nation that India would be proud of. Students of this College assimilate and recreate quality management practices since its inception. We ensure that students as well as faculties are self-inspired to become great professionals.
